Monarch Investment and Management Group is hiring a Maintenance Technician for Retreat at Woodridge Apartments in Lenexa, KS. The role involves completing work orders, performing repairs across plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, and HVAC, and supporting preventive maintenance and on-call coverage.

Candidates should have HVAC experience, EPA Universal certification, and a high school diploma. A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required; CPO certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders in a timely manner based on priority.
• Turning and making units ready in between tenant occupancy.
• Completing repairs in property and apartment plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, and HVAC.
• Assist in preventative maintenance as assigned.
• Exterior structural maintenance as needed.
• Assist in property grounds maintenance.
• Assist in coverage of a 24/7 emergency on-call system.

Schedule

Monday-Friday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, On-Call rotation 1 week every 6 weeks

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders in a timely manner based on priority
• Turning and making units ready in between tenant occupancy
• Completing repairs in property and apartment plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, and HVAC
• Assist in preventative maintenance as assigned
• Exterior structural maintenance as needed
• Assist in property grounds maintenance

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 5+ years experience in the maintenance field required
• 3+ years multifamil housing experience required
• HVAC experience and EPA Universal certification required
• Basic knowledge of drywall, painting, and carpentry experience
• Light plumbing and electrical experience
• CPO Certification preferred
• Working knowledge of appliances to include washers and dryers
• Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation
