At Van Buren Village in Kettering, OH, earn $23–$26 per hour with a quarterly bonus up to $750 and a comprehensive benefits program including 401K matching, tuition reimbursement, tool reimbursement, generous PTO, and housing discounts. Schedule is 8:30-5:30PM Monday through Friday, on-call every five weeks with a $100 bonus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ year experience in the maintenance field preferred.
• 6+ months experience in apartment maintenance.
• Basic knowledge of drywall, painting, and carpentry.
• Plumbing and electrical experience.
• EPA Universal Certification a plus.
• CPO Certification a plus.
• Working knowledge of appliances to include washers and dryers.
• Physical demonstration of basic job duties during interview process.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders in a timely manner based on priority.
• Turn and make units ready in between tenant occupancy.
• Complete repairs in plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, and HVAC.
• Assist in preventative maintenance as assigned.
• Exterior structural maintenance as needed.
• Assist in property grounds maintenance and snow removal as needed.
• Assist in coverage of a 24/7 emergency on-call system.

Apartment (Multifamily) Maintenance Technician

SCHEDULE

8:30-5:30PM Monday through Friday, On-call once every 5 weeks ($100 bonus for weeks on-call and min of 1.5hrs paid for call outs)

COMPENSATION

$23-26 an hour plus a quarterly bonus of up to $750
