Job summary

Monarch Investment and Management is hiring a full-time Apartment Maintenance Technician for our communities. You will perform repairs across plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, and HVAC, turn and prepare units between tenants, and assist with on-call coverage.

We offer a schedule of 8:30-5:30 Monday through Friday with on-call once every three weeks and bonuses, including a $100 on-call bonus and quarterly bonuses up to $750, plus tools reimbursement and insurance options.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years experience in the maintenance field preferred.
• 1+ months experience in apartment maintenance.
• Basic drywall, painting, and carpentry knowledge.
• Plumbing and electrical experience.
• EPA HVAC Certification a plus.
• CPO Certification a plus.
• Working knowledge of appliances (washers/dryers).
• Able to physically demonstrate job duties during interview.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders promptly based on priority.
• Turn and make units ready between tenants.
• Repair plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, and HVAC.
• Assist in preventative maintenance.
• Exterior structural maintenance as needed.
• Assist in grounds maintenance and snow removal.
• Support 24/7 emergency on-call coverage.

POSITION: Apartment (Multifamily) Maintenance Technician, full-time

SCHEDULE: 8:30-5:30PM Monday through Friday, On-call once every 3 weeks ($100 bonus for weeks on-call and min of 1.5hrs paid for call outs)

COMPENSATION: $23-25 an hour plus a quarterly bonus of up to $750, $500 a year in tool reimbursement and much more!

Responsibilities:

• Complete work orders in a timely manner based on priority
• Turning and making units ready in between tenant occupancy
• Completing repairs in property and apartment plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, and HVAC
• Assist in preventative maintenance as assigned
• Exterior structural maintenance as needed
• Assist in property grounds maintenance and snow removal as needed
• Assist in coverage of a 24/7 emergency on-call system

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2+ year experience in the maintenance field preferred
• 1+ months experience in apartment maintenance
• Basic knowledge of drywall, painting, and carpentry experience
• Plumbing and electrical experience
• EPA HVAC Certification a plus
• CPO Certification a plus
• Working knowledge of appliances to include washers and dryers
• Ability to physically demonstrate basic job duties (completed during interview process)
