Job summary

The Yarco Companies are seeking aMaintenance Technician to assist the Maintenance Supervisor in performing repairs and preventive maintenance across the property. You will help keep apartments, common areas, and grounds in top condition and ensure readiness of units for new residents.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting minor electrical/plumbing issues, assisting with make-ready tasks, and responding to on-site needs, including emergencies, with a safety-first approach.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• One year maintenance experience in residential property.
• Pool/HVAC/boiler certifications preferred where appropriate.
• Background check, drug screen, and physical demand analysis may be required.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and preventive repairs across the property, including residences, public spaces, grounds and equipment.
• Assist Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager to ensure operations run smoothly.
• Make-ready units to market standards; some painting may be necessary.
• Maintain laundry facilities and respond to on-site needs and emergencies as requested.
