Job summary

The Yarco Companies is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support the Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager across our residential properties. This safety-sensitive role performs repairs, preventive maintenance, and general upkeep of apartments, public spaces, grounds and equipment.

Candidates should have at least a high school diploma or GED and one year of residential property maintenance experience. Familiarity with HVAC, electrical and plumbing repairs is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• One year of residential property maintenance experience.
• Ability to lift up to 110 pounds and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and preventive maintenance across residential properties.
• Maintain common areas, exterior grounds, and equipment.
• Troubleshoot minor HVAC, electrical, and plumbing issues.
• Make ready units to market-ready condition; some painting may be required.
• Respond to on-call emergencies as needed.
• Follow safety policies and assist the Community Manager.
