Job summary

The Yarco Companies is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support our property management operations across residential communities. This role collaborates with the Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager to execute preventive maintenance, repair appliances, and maintain common areas in accordance with company standards.

The ideal candidate has at least one year of maintenance experience in residential housing, a high school diploma, and the ability to lift up to 110 pounds.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Pool certification preferred; HVAC/boiler certifications optional.
• One year maintenance experience in residential property.

Responsibilities

• Maintain property appearance and conduct daily inspections.
• Troubleshoot and repair minor HVAC electrical/plumbing issues.
• Prepare units to market-ready condition, including painting.
• Manage laundry rooms according to company guidelines.
• Perform pool maintenance and chemical inspections where applicable.
• Provide resident-focused customer service and support emergencies.
• Perform other duties as needed.
