Job summary

Southern Management Companies is seeking an Apartment Maintenance Service Technician (M3) in Vienna, VA. In this full-time role you will diagnose problems and perform repairs across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and more to ensure community assets meet standards and law.

Your duties include documenting requests, maintaining tools and inventory, and participating in on-call rotations. A Refrigerant cert is preferred, with strong safety and record-keeping skills essential.

Qualifications

• Three years of experience in maintenance related fields.
• Successful completion of Basic Electric class
• On-call availability required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose problems and perform repairs to HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and other systems.
• Maintain an inventory of supplies and document service requests.
• Complete preventive maintenance as scheduled and adhere to safety standards.
