Job summary

Capstone Real Estate Services, Inc. is seeking an apartment maintenance technician in Dallas, TX. The role involves diagnosing and repairing defects, performing preventative maintenance, and preparing vacant units for leasing.

You will chase work orders, complete make-ready tasks, manage inventory and documentation, and assist with groundskeeping. A valid driver’s license and AC certifications are required, with a willingness to work flexible hours.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of apartment maintenance experience.
• Technical or other relevant training completed.
• AC Certification I and II preferred.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders from resident requests and preventative maintenance by diagnosing defects and repairing as per policy and code requirements.
• Completes the make-ready process for vacant apartments, including pre-move-out inspection, punch list, vendor scheduling, supplies, tasks, and inspection of work.
• Follows procedures to access materials and track inventory, returning unused items and notifying supervisor for reorders.
• Completes documentation to ensure service requests are properly recorded and tracked.
• Assists in groundskeeping and common areas, including cleaning, painting curbs/signage, and maintaining amenities.
• Supports cost-saving by repairing rather than replacing parts and using materials efficiently.
• Performs preventative maintenance and is willing to work a flexible schedule and be on-call.
