Job summary

PeakMade Real Estate in Dallas is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform a variety of maintenance tasks across an apartment community. You will support the Maintenance Supervisor and ensure timely completion of service requests while upholding safety and quality.

The role emphasizes resident service, preventive maintenance, and on-call rotation. Candidates should have at least one year of maintenance experience; EPA Type I/II preferred; high school diploma required; ability to lift 50 lbs;

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least one year maintenance experience, preferably in the apartment industry.
• EPA Type I and II certification preferred.
• Must live within 30 miles of the property and be able to rotate on-call.
• Ability to work weekends and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all service requests and repairs are completed thoroughly and promptly.
• Assist Maintenance Supervisor with inventory of equipment, tools, parts and supplies.
• Maintain preventive maintenance schedule and safe work areas.
• Communicate effectively with residents, staff, vendors and supervisors.
• Perform scheduled maintenance on equipment per manufacturer recommendations.
• Participate in on-call rotation for emergency service.
