Job summary

Monarch Investment and Management Group is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for Palo Duro Place Apartments in Amarillo, TX. You will lead the maintenance team, ensure work orders are prioritized and completed, and oversee a broad range of repairs and preventative maintenance to keep our property in top condition.

The role requires HVAC experience and EPA certification, with a strong emphasis on leadership and budget awareness.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Ensure work orders are completed and assigned by priority.
• Turn and prepare units between tenant occupancy.
• Complete repairs in plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, and HVAC.
• Monthly budget analysis with Property Manager.
• Maintain a preventative maintenance program.
• Oversee exterior structural maintenance as needed.
• Manage 24/7 emergency on-call coverage.
• Oversee bids and plan major repairs with vendors.

Location:
Palo Duro Place Apartments

Amarillo, TX 79102

Schedule:
Monday-Friday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, On-Call rotation 1 week every 4 weeks

Responsibilities

• Ensuring that work orders are being completed and assigned to team members based on priority
• Turning and making units ready in between tenant occupancy
• Completing repairs in property and apartment plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, and HVAC
• Monthly budget analysis with Property Manager
• Manage and maintain a consistent preventative maintenance program
• Exterior structural maintenance as needed
• Managing coverage of a 24/7 emergency on-call system
• Managing bids and planning major repairs from third party vendors

Requirements

• HVAC experience required
• EPA certification required
• CPO certification a plus
• High school diploma or equivalent
• 4+ years’ experience in the maintenance field
• 4+ year experience within the multi-family housing industry preferred
• Experience managing 1+ employees
• Drywall, painting, and carpentry experience
• Experience with light plumbing and electrical work
• Working knowledge of appliances to include washers and dryers
• Ability to physically demonstrate basic job duties (completed during interview process)
