Avenue5 Residential is seeking a Maintenance Technician to address apartment and property maintenance duties at our Salt Lake City area communities. You will perform a broad range of repairs and maintenance tasks to uphold safety, curb appeal and resident satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Must maintain a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Ability to read, write and understand English.
• Ability to use general office equipment.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical functions.
• Ability to cope with and defuse situations involving angry or difficult people.
• Maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Address an array of apartment and property maintenance duties as assigned by the supervisor/manager.
• Perform repairs across electrical, plumbing, appliances, carpentry, HVAC and grounds.
• Conduct basic carpentry such as wallboard repair, cabinet replacement, tile repair.
• Maintain property grounds, safety, cleanliness and curb appeal.
• Assist with property emergencies and inclement weather events.
• Communicate with maintenance leadership about issues and progress.
• Adhere to safety and risk management policies.
• Participate in on-call/after-hours maintenance as required.
• Promote customer satisfaction through professional interactions with residents.
