Job summary

Avenue5 Residential is seeking a Maintenance Technician to service apartment communities. You will address a broad range of maintenance tasks, including electrical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, and grounds care, while upholding safety, quality, and curb appeal.

You’ll respond to resident needs, complete work orders promptly, and support emergency response efforts. Candidates should have a high school diploma and at least one year in property management or related field, plus general maintenance

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• At least one year of experience in the property management industry or related field.
• General maintenance and carpentry skills.

Responsibilities

• Address a range of apartment and property maintenance duties.
• Perform electrical, plumbing, appliance, flooring, carpentry, HVAC, and grounds maintenance tasks as directed.
• Perform carpentry repairs such as wallboard, countertops, finish carpentry, window/glass, door/lock, and tile repairs.
• Maintain work orders and ensure timely completion to satisfaction.
• Inspect property grounds and common areas for safety and cleanliness.
• Assist with property emergencies and after-hours maintenance.
• Promote safety and risk management per rules and regulations.
