Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Leasing Coordinator in Houston to coordinate the community’s marketing, leasing, and renewal strategies. You will manage tours, applications, and lease processing while ensuring move-in readiness and resident satisfaction.

The role emphasizes active leasing, market awareness, and strong coordination with maintenance and on-site teams to maximize occupancy and revenue.

Qualifications

• Incumbents must have all licenses and/or certifications as required by State and Local jurisdictions
• Incumbents must have valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property.

Responsibilities

• Greet and qualify prospects, conduct community tours and show apartments, process applications, perform background checks, prepare leases and move-in packages.
• Inspect apartments prior to move-in and ensure move-in readiness; coordinate maintenance as needed.
• Develop and implement short- and long-term marketing plans to sustain occupancy, and follow policies related to concessions and specials.
• Design and execute marketing activities to drive traffic, including referrals, employer outreach, and online tools like Craigslist and Facebook.
• Track apartment availability and leasing activities using on-site software (OneSite, Yardi, etc.) and manage resident data.
• Prepare leasing offices for daily activities and ensure show units meet company standards of show quality.
• Follow up with prospects and residents to secure lease renewals and satisfaction.
• Respond promptly to resident/owner concerns and document requests accordingly.
