Job summary

Dine Brands Global, based in Pasadena, CA, is seeking a Senior Specialist, Accounts Payable to safeguard accuracy and timeliness of vendor payments. This role leads vendor management, weekly pay runs, and reconciling securitized bank activity.

You will collaborate with AP Manager, Treasury, and Finance to ensure compliant, audit-ready payables. Proficiency with Concur and PeopleSoft, plus Excel, is highly valued.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of accounts payable experience, including vendor maintenance and reconciliations.
• Experience with vendor onboarding, W-9 and TIN validation, and 1099 reporting.
• Proficient in ERP systems (PeopleSoft) and Concur.
• Strong attention to detail and compliance with tax requirements.
• Ability to work independently in a remote/hybrid setting.

Responsibilities

• Own vendor master file updates and new vendor setups with validated data.
• Perform weekly pay cycle processing and reconciling securitized bank accounts.
• Audit invoices for coding, approvals, and exceptions; investigate variances.
• Manage outstanding checks and escheatment in coordination with Treasury.
• Support month-end close for AP subledger alignment.
• Assist with 1099 production and IRS filings.
• Provide timely responses to internal and external stakeholders.
