You will manage the full AP cycle, handle 40–60 daily invoices, resolve PO issues, and process construction pay apps, supporting month-end close. The role offers mentorship, autonomy, and a chance to contribute to process improvements.

Required: 2+ years in AP within construction or project-based environments; strong attention to detail and ERP experience. Salary $55–65K, on-site.

Key Responsibilities For The Accounts Payable Specialist

• Manage the full accounts payable cycle, processing approximately 40 to 60 invoices daily while ensuring accuracy, proper coding, and timely approvals.
• Research and resolve purchase order discrepancies, pricing differences, and invoice exceptions by collaborating with Purchasing, Operations, and Project Management.
• Process construction-related pay applications, ensuring accurate documentation, approvals, and project cost allocation.
• Reconcile vendor statements, investigate outstanding balances, and respond to vendor inquiries to maintain strong working relationships.
• Support payment processing, month-end close activities, and general accounting functions while identifying opportunities to improve AP processes.

Qualifications For The Accounts Payable Specialist

• 2+ years of accounts payable experience within construction, contracting, or a project-based environment. Direct experience with construction pay applications (pay apps) is required.
• Experience processing high-volume invoices, resolving purchase order discrepancies, and working with accounting or ERP systems.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a collaborative, dependable approach with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
