Job summary

IEM is seeking an Accounts Payable Shared Services Manager to join our Finance and Accounting team. This role designs and implements a shared services model for accounts payable across North America, partnering with operations, procurement, finance, and treasury to drive standardization, efficiency, and scalable processes.

You will report to the VP Controller and help shape the future of our finance organization. Remote-friendly role based in the United States with up to 25% travel.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in Accounting/Finance required.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in accounts payable operations.
• Experience with ERP payables systems and continuous improvement.
• Proficiency with Excel and ERP/MRP software.
• Ability to travel up to 25% for collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Lead Invoice-to-Pay personnel across 3 North American locations with a focus on process improvement.
• Analyze workflows to justify improvements across procure-to-pay with digital solutions.
• Direct a team to design scalable, efficient procure-to-pay processes.
• Translate strategy into operational goals and roadmaps.
• Ensure AP procedures comply with state and federal regulations.
• Support month-end close with accruals and reconciliations.
• Coordinate with auditors and provide reports and reconciliations.
