Job summary

Boscov's Department Store, LLC in Reading, PA seeks an Accounts Payable Payment Specialist to manage payment processes and ensure timely vendor payments. The role involves communicating with vendors via email and phone and supporting the AP team.

You will handle pay cycle approvals, vendor set-ups for credit card programs, generate AP MERCH cycles, run aging reports, and assist with various system tests and reporting rotations.

• Excellent organizational and time management skills

Responsibilities

• Ensure pay cycle approvals from AP management.
• Generate AP MERCH pay cycle for the virtual card program.
• Campaign newly added AP MERCH vendors for the credit card program.
• Set up new vendors for the credit card payment program.
• Assist with campaigns of vendors for the credit card payment program.
• Make necessary updates to vendor payments.
• Respond to vendor emails accurately and promptly.
• Email freight-only invoices to buying offices for approval.
• Cancel and void payments in PeopleSoft as needed.
• Assist in testing of our systems.
• Assist with departmental reporting – 5 week rotation.
• Run Debit Aging Report and research items over 120 days with buying office.
• Run quarterly report to make adjustments.
• Assist AP Analyst with Monthly Consignment vendors.
• Run weekly AP Aging Report.
• Assist management with Intransit.
