Job summary

Serco Inc. seeks a dynamic Manager of Accounting Services to lead North America Accounts Payable, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance. You will oversee the AP team, optimize processes, and collaborate with Procurement, Treasury, and IT to scale operations.

The role requires strong leadership, technical accounting knowledge, and experience with government contracting and Deltek Costpoint. You will interface with US and Canada stakeholders and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in Accounts Payable accounting with strong AP, procurement, and journal entry knowledge.
• Minimum 4 years in a leadership role managing finance operations teams including AP.
• Experience with OCR/IDP technologies in an AP environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead AP team for US & Canada, ensure accurate posting and timely payments.
• Oversee month-end close activities related to A/P.
• Manage vendor records, travel and purchasing card programs.
• Prepare AP reports and KPIs to drive performance improvements.
• Ensure compliance with FAR/JTR and government contracting requirements.
• Lead process improvements and system enhancements for AP.
