Job summary

Serco Inc. seeks a dynamic Manager, Accounting Services to lead the AP function across North America, ensure accurate and timely processing, and drive best practices in procure-to-pay.

You will oversee month-end close, vendor management, and compliance, collaborating with Procurement, Treasury, and Finance stakeholders. The role emphasizes process improvement, system optimization (Deltek Costpoint), and the ability to manage multiple locations while maintaining high internal controls and service

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum 6 years in Accounts Payable with strong procurement, PO processing, internal controls, and accruals/prepaids.
• Minimum 4 years in a leadership role managing finance ops/AP teams.
• Experience with OCR/IDP technologies in AP environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage AP team for US/Canada entities with efficient invoice posting and payment processing.
• Ensure timely month-end close for AP and travel/purchasing card programs.
• Maintain vendor master records and oversee vendor record changes.
• Prepare AP reports, aging, and KPIs for management.
• Develop and maintain AP policies; support internal/external audits.
• Test and implement system enhancements; troubleshoot AP systems with stakeholders.
