Job summary

Serco Inc. seeks a dynamic Manager, Accounting Services to lead the end-to-end accounts payable process for North America. You will oversee AP workflows, month-end close, and vendor management, leveraging technology to scale operations.

The role requires strong leadership, deep AP knowledge including FAR/JTR and government contracting, and collaboration with Procurement, Treasury, and IT across locations in the US and Canada.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in Accounts Payable with procurement and PO processing.
• Minimum 4 years in a leadership role managing finance operations teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Accounts Payable team for US and Canada, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Oversee month-end close activities related to A/P and travel/purchasing card programs.
• Partner with Procurement, Vendor Management, and Treasury to align financial processes with objectives.
• Prepare AP-related reports and monitor KPIs to drive performance improvements.
• Maintain internal controls and support audits; develop AP policies and procedures.
• Identify and implement process improvements and automation to scale AP operations.
