Precise Systems is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to manage full life cycle AP for our Reston office. Hybrid work is possible, with in-office or on-site support as required. The role requires handling invoices, expense reports in Concur, and ensuring timely close processes.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year in a Government Contracting AP environment, familiarity with Deltek CostPoint and Concur, and strong MS Office skills. Eligibility for a Secret clearance and U.S.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year of Government Contracting experience in Accounts Payable.
• Experience with Deltek CostPoint and/or Concur is a plus.
• Proficient with accounting software and MS Office suite.
• Strong customer-service focus with excellent listening and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively to complete tasks on time.
• Demonstrated initiative, attention to detail, and adaptability.
• Willingness to obtain/maintain Secret security clearance and U.S. citizenship.

Responsibilities

• Reconcile corporate credit card transactions monthly, entering invoices into CostPoint and following up with cardholders.
• Process full-cycle Accounts Payable including invoices, approvals, coding, recording, and electronic filing.
• Ensure monthly and year-end close deadlines are met and aid with vendor/customer inquiries.
• Review travel expense reports in Concur and advise on company travel policies and accounting system.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
