Strong GAAP knowledge, ERP experience, and ethics in handling financial data are essential. The candidate will work on vendor invoices, reconciliations, 1099s, AR aging, and internal controls, with on-site work in Solana Beach, CA.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Public company experience with SOX controls.
• 3–4 years in AP or general accounting.
• Proficiency in US GAAP and accrual accounting.
• Experience with an ERP system; NetSuite preferred.

Aufgaben

• Process vendor invoices end-to-end, including PO/receipt matching and proper coding.
• Review aged payables and resolve discrepancies with vendors.
• Collaborate with Purchasing/Operations on PO and receiving issues.
• Reconcile AP subledger to the general ledger each period.
• Manage the 1099 filing process.
• Identify AP accruals and quarter-end accruals and document them.
• Meet with department heads to discuss contract/PO accruals.
• Review invoices for prepaid items and maintain schedules.
• Monitor AR aging and follow up on past-due accounts.
• Prepare journal entries and reconciliations for close deadlines.
• Support SOX/compliance and audits and suggest process improvements.
