Responsibilities

• Process Accounts Payable invoices, including 3-way matching.
• Enter and process invoices using Accumatica ERP system.
• Enter trailer, RV, parts, and warranty invoices accurately.
• Process ~50–55 trailer invoices per week and 30–40 parts/warranty orders daily.
• Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and variances.
• Communicate with vendors and internal teams via phone, email, and Teams.
• Monitor AP/AR email inboxes and respond to inquiries.
• Download and reconcile data in Excel; ensure totals balance.

Accounting Clerk (AP & AR)

Location: Nappanee, IN
Salary: $47,840 – $54,080

About the Role

Our client is seeking an Accounting Clerk to support both Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions in a high-volume manufacturing environment. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving, working with detailed information, and collaborating with multiple departments to ensure invoices and transactions are processed accurately.

Key Responsibilities- AP and AR

• Process Accounts Payable invoices, including 3-way matching of purchase orders, receipts, and invoices.
• Enter and process invoices with and without purchase orders using the Accumatica ERP system.
• Enter trailer, RV, parts, and warranty invoices accurately and timely.
• Process approximately 50-55 trailer invoices per week and 30-40 parts/warranty orders per day.
• Research and resolve invoice discrepancies, pricing issues, and receiving variances.
• Communicate with vendors and internal departments via phone, email, and Microsoft Teams.
• Monitor shared AP and AR email inboxes and respond to inquiries.
• Download and reconcile data in Excel, ensuring transactions match and totals balance correctly.
• Participate in daily team stand‑up meetings to review invoice volumes and workflow status.
• Maintain tracking spreadsheets and assist with invoice processing metrics.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Billing, Order Entry, or Accounting Clerk roles.
• Experience processing high-volume invoices and managing multiple priorities.
• Basic to intermediate Excel skills required; advanced Excel functions are not necessary.
• Comfortable working with spreadsheets to reconcile data, track invoice counts, and verify totals.
• Experience with ERP systems; Accumatica experience is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and problem‑solving skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
