The role involves guiding visitors through services, answering phones and emails, assisting with adoptions and applications, handling payments and donations, and keeping the front office organized. This hands-on, fast-paced position requires someone who can lead conversations when needed, communicate clearly, and stay calm under pressure while supporting a team that cares deeply about animals

Responsibilities

• Greeting and guiding visitors through our services and processes
• Answering phones/emails and providing clear, accurate information
• Assisting with adoptions and applications
• Handling payments and donations
• Keeping the front office clean and organized
• Performing basic animal care tasks (including nail trims — training provided)
• Data entry and general office support
