Job summary

Dow in Orange, Texas, seeks an Analytical Technician to support Sabine River Operations. You will perform routine analyses (Melt Index, IR, GC, LC, Titration), prepare standards, and maintain equipment while ensuring data quality and safety compliance.

The role requires a 12-hour rotating shift including weekends/nights, with potential overtime. Prior plastics lab or LIMS experience is a plus. U.S. work authorization is required.

Qualifications

• Requires High School Diploma or GED with 5+ years in chemical labs or a relevant bachelor/Military equivalent.
• Experience with LIMS or other laboratory management systems is preferred.
• Experience with GC/LC is preferred; ability to perform routine analyses and calibrations.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine analyses including Melt Index, IR, GC, LC, Titration, and film extrusion.
• Prepare calibration and internal standards and maintain instrument calibration.
• Escalate issues and troubleshoot laboratory instruments; document results and maintain data integrity.
