Job summary

Dow is seeking an Analytical Technician in Orange, Texas, to support Sabine River Operations. You will perform routine laboratory analyses, calibrations, and maintenance to provide data for quality release. The role requires 5+ years in a chemical lab, and the ability to work a 12-hour rotating shift with overtime.

Ideal candidates have GC/LC experience and familiarity with LIMS, EH&S, and ODMS procedures. Relocation assistance is not provided, and visa sponsorship is not available for this

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required with either a bachelor’s degree or qualifying military experience (US E5 or Canadian PO2/Sergeant).
• 5+ years in a chemical laboratory setting.
• 12-hour rotating shift including weekends, nights, and holidays; overtime may be required.
• Prior experience with LIMS or lab management systems preferred; GC/LC or Gel Characterization preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine analyses (Melt Index, IR, GC, LC, Titration, Film Extrusion).
• Prepare standards and calibration materials; perform basic instrument maintenance.
• Evaluate data, apply basic statistics, and interpret results.
• Monitor analytical systems and troubleshoot; escalate as needed.
• Follow EH&S and ODMS procedures and document results.
• Escalate non-routine requests to appropriate team member.
