Job summary

Vercel is seeking a Manager of Solutions Architecture to lead the Americas SA team and drive technical excellence across pre and post sales. The role partners with sales leadership to win new business and expand existing accounts, with a hybrid schedule in major US offices.

You will mentor and scale a team of Solutions Architects while collaborating with Sales, Product, and Engineering to deliver customer success across enterprise customers.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in Solutions Architecture/Engineering, Sales Engineering, or Technical Pre-sales roles.
• 2+ years in a leadership position.
• Strong background in web technologies and cloud infrastructure.
• Experience with enterprise customers across industries.
• Understanding of CI/CD and modern frontend workflows.
• Experience partnering with Sales, Product, and Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop Americas Solutions Architecture team; coach and career development.
• Ensure technical excellence across pre and post sales.
• Provide hands-on support for key accounts (presentations, reviews, migration plans).
• Coach SA engagement on strategic deals.
• Collaborate with engineering to feedback product in field.
• Develop repeatable plays from regional trends.
• Track and report SA performance to leadership quarterly.
• Own org planning, staffing, budgeting, and recruiting.
