Job summary

Vercel is seeking a Solutions Architect in the Field Engineering team to span pre‑sales and post‑sales, acting as a trusted advisor to enterprise customers throughout their lifecycle. Qualifications

• Significant experience in a customer-facing technical role (solutions architect, sales engineer, platform architect).
• Hands-on skills with JavaScript/TypeScript and modern web frameworks, including Next.js.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Sales to lead technical discovery and shape solution strategy for key opportunities.
• Design target architectures for Agentic workflows and AI/web apps on Vercel, including frontends, APIs, data and edge services, and integrations with headless ecosystems.
• Create and deliver tailored demos and workshops to articulate Vercel’s value.
• Own end-to-end proofs of concept and pilots; define success criteria and remove blockers.
• Lead architecture post-sale for strategic accounts, guiding onboarding and migration patterns.
• Engage with customers on performance, reliability, and cost optimization using observability data.
