Vercel is seeking a Head of Solutions Architecture to lead the global Startups SA team within Field Engineering. You will steer technical pre-sales, architecture reviews, migration plans, and high-stakes presentations, collaborating with Sales, Product, and Engineering to shape wins in startups.

Based in the US with hybrid options in San Francisco, Austin, or New York, the role emphasizes team growth, staffing, and recruiting, while providing hands-on support for key accounts as needed.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in Solutions Engineering, Sales Engineering, or similar pre‑sales roles, with at least 5 years in leadership.
• Strong background in modern web technologies (JavaScript, React, Next.js, Node.js, APIs).
• Proven ability to lead and scale technical teams in a high-growth environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead, develop, and manage Vercel's global Startups SA team.
• Ensure technical excellence across the pre-sales cycle.
• Provide hands-on support for key accounts (presentations, architecture reviews).
• Coach SA engagement on strategic accounts and critical deals.
• Partner with engineering to provide field feedback and develop repeatable plays.
• Track SA performance and report to leadership quarterly.
