Job summary
Vercel is seeking a Director of Solutions Architects to lead the AMER Startups SA team, delivering pre- and post-sales technical leadership for startups across the Americas. You will mentor staff, partner with sales, and drive technical excellence in architecture reviews, migrations, and strategic deals.

Qualifications
- 10+ years in Solutions Engineering or Sales Engineering with leadership experience
- Strong background in web technologies (JavaScript, React, Next.js) and cloud infrastructure
- Proven ability to lead, coach, and scale technical teams in a high-growth environment
Responsibilities
- Lead AMER Startups SA team, including training, career development, and compensation
- Ensure technical excellence across pre-sales
- Provide hands-on support for key accounts (presentations, architecture reviews)
- Oversee SA engagement on strategic accounts and critical deals
- Partner with engineering to provide product feedback from the field
- Develop repeatable plays from team trends
- Track and report SA performance quarterly
- Own org planning, staffing, budgeting, and regional recruiting
