Job summary

Vercel Inc. is seeking a Senior Manager of Solutions Architecture to lead the APAC SA team from Sydney. You will guide the pre- and post-sales cycle, mentor architects, and partner with Sales leadership to win new business and grow existing accounts.

You will drive technical excellence, coach the team, and work closely with engineering to translate field feedback into product improvements. This role emphasizes leadership, scale, and enterprise collaboration.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in Solutions Architecture, Engineering, Sales Engineering, or pre-sales roles.
• 2+ years in a leadership position leading teams.
• Strong background in web technologies (Next.js, React, Node.js, APIs).
• Experience with enterprise and commercial customers across industries.
• Understanding of modern software development workflows (CI/CD, DevOps).
• Experience collaborating with Sales, Product, and Engineering to drive customer success.

Responsibilities

• Lead, develop, and manage an APAC Solutions Architect team (Sydney based).
• Ensure technical excellence across pre/post sales cycles.
• Provide hands-on support for key accounts (presentations, reviews, migration plans).
• Coach SA engagement on strategic deals and large opportunities.
• Partner with engineering to feedback from the field and drive product improvements.
• Develop repeatable plays from regional trends and performance metrics.
• Own org planning, staffing, budgeting, and regional recruiting.
• Report SA performance to Sales and Field Engineering leadership quarterly.
