Mercy is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Pre Procedure Phase II in the Ambulatory Surgery Unit. The role focuses on nursing assessment, history collection, and coordination with anesthesia to ensure optimal patient care.

Under supervision, you will perform direct patient care across age groups, plan and evaluate care, and uphold Mercy's mission and standards. This full-time, 0.9 FTE position includes comprehensive benefits and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in the state of practice.
• BLS certification required.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Solid clinical nursing skills.

Responsibilities

• Assess the patient prior to admission via phone interview or in person.
• Collect the patient’s medical history from records.
• Coordinate with anesthesia to meet patient needs.
• Perform direct patient care for all age groups.
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate care per plan and hospital policies.
• Uphold Mercy Service Standards and mission in all duties.
