Mercy is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Pre Admission Phase II in the Ambulatory Surgery Unit. This role involves evaluating patients, coordinating with anesthesia, and delivering direct patient care across age groups.

The position is 0.9 FTE (36 hours per week) with hours from 10am to 10:30pm, and includes standard Mercy benefits and opportunities for professional growth within a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current RN license in the state of practice.
• Minimum of 2 years RN experience.
• BLS certification from American Heart Association.

Responsabilités

• Assess with the patient prior to admission via phone interview or in person.
• Collect patient medical history from previous records.
• Coordinate patient needs with anesthesia department.
• Perform direct patient care activities for all age groups.
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate care per the plan of care and hospital policies.
