Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking a Clinical Practice Assistant to join the Ambulatory Float Pool. You will perform administrative and clinical duties to support smooth operations, including patient greeting, check-in, scheduling and basic medical assisting across assigned clinics.

Responsibilities include vital signs, phlebotomy, point-of-care testing, and EMR/documentation while coordinating with providers and staff to maintain efficient patient flow.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 0-1 years related work experience required.
• Medical assisting experience required through MA, CNA (or LNA), EMT, PCT certificate, or Associates Degree in Medical Assisting; nursing student with clinical rotation welcome.

Responsibilities

• Perform medical assisting duties including vital signs, EKGs, phlebotomy and assisting during routine procedures.
• Greet patients, check-in, schedule appointments and assist with patient care.
• Escort patients to radiology and lab; maintain clean, stocked patient care areas.
