UC Irvine Health is seeking a patient-facing registration clerk for ambulatory clinics. The role involves general clerical duties, front-desk reception, data entry, and verification of insurance coverage.

You will schedule, confirm, and cancel patient appointments while delivering quality customer service. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong communication skills, can work weekends/holidays, and is proficient with common office equipment and computer systems used in medical settings.

Qualifications

• Must have the skill, knowledge and ability for the role.
• Must demonstrate customer service skills.
• Must be able to work weekends/holidays.
• Experience with office equipment (printer, copier, fax, scanner).
• Experience with a multi-line telephone system.
• Experience using a computer for data entry and retrieval.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work variable shifts including evenings, nights, weekends and holidays.
