Job summary

UMass Memorial Health Barre Health Center is seeking an Ambulatory Manager to lead day-to-day operations across ambulatory clinics, ensuring high-quality patient care, efficient workflow, and strong staff development.

Reporting to the Sr. Director, Ambulatory Operations, you will oversee budgets, staffing, scheduling, and compliance with Joint Commission and other standards, while partnering with physician leaders to optimize access and performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Management, or applicable field; or Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
• Project management and presentation skills.
• Interpersonal and communications skills (oral and written).
• Minimum 3 years directly related work experience (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Directs and supervises assigned personnel including performance evaluations and staffing.
• Develops and manages annual departmental budgets and financial plans.
• Ensures compliance with Joint Commission, DPH, safety, and other regulatory requirements.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Management, or applicable field
