Job summary

UMass Memorial Health is seeking a Supervisor of Ambulatory Operations to oversee daily clinic activities, staffing, patient registration, scheduling, and billing coordination. This role ensures efficient patient flow, quality customer service, and regulatory compliance within a Spine Center setting.

The supervisor reports to the Manager of Ambulatory Operations and collaborates with multiple departments to optimize processes, improve performance, and maintain accurate records while leading

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in related field or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of medical administrative office experience.
• Strong written and oral communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in relevant computer software; able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily clinic operations with appropriate staffing and supplies.
• Manage patient registration, scheduling, and billing coordination.
• Monitor scheduling quality and implement process improvements.
• Coordinate with hospital departments to optimize patient flow.
• Lead clerical and clinical staff to ensure quality patient care.
• Maintain confidential patient records and comply with policies.
