Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent; 2+ years in hospital/clinical setting with supervisory experience; ability to write analytical and administrative reports; intermediate MS Office skills; familiarity with patient care systems; knowledge of university policies for risk and personnel management; strong attention to detail; analytical, problem‑solving and organizational skills; ability to handle ambiguity in a fast-paced environment; collaborate with nursing, HR and safety teams on training.

Responsibilities

• Supervise front and back office staff; assign work and ensure patient protocols are followed.
• Ensure adequate coverage during staff absences to minimize disruption.
• Foster cooperation and conflict resolution within the team; motivate and set departmental goals.
• Recruit, train, and maintain qualified support staff for medical practice.
• Represent the practice in personnel matters under supervision of the Ambulatory Operations Director.
• Provide back-up support when the Ambulatory MSO is unavailable.
• Make recommendations on staff merit increases and awards with regard to evaluations and finances.
• Maintain compliance with university policies and regulatory requirements; perform daily rounding and record keeping.
• Support initiatives to improve quality of care and patient access; provide real-time coaching.
