Qualifications

• Ability to travel to various UCLA Health locations and be physically present at the job site.
• Ability to work various days/shifts and occasional weekends; Days and hours may vary depending on assignments.
• Familiarity with authorization processes and managed care programs.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Travel to UCLA Health Ambulatory Community Clinics throughout Southern California; must be physically present.
• Support patient flow from registration through discharge and assist clinic teams for smooth operations.
• Process prior authorizations and referrals; assist in surgery scheduling tasks.
• Gather information for successful patient consultations and coordinate across multiple practices.
• Provide coverage across locations based on staffing needs and travel requirements.
