Responsibilities

• Ensure accuracy of scheduling using the department's scheduling system and register in the system; obtain consents and insurance information.
• Verify insurance eligibility and pre-authorization/referral details; discuss payment arrangements with families.
• Prepare and reconcile daily clinic billing; ensure proper cash handling and backfill open slots.
• Provide mentoring and training to peers; support process improvements in registration and denials reduction.
• Answer calls, manage office tasks, maintain files, and uphold HIPAA-related procedures.
