Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year experience billing, patient registration, scheduling, insurance verification, and screening.
• Broad clinic knowledge and customer service skills.
• Proficiency with basic computer skills; MS Office preferred.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and register patients with accuracy using the department's scheduling system.
• Collect demographic and insurance information; ensure HIPAA/privacy compliance.
• Verify insurance eligibility and pre-authorization needs.
• Collect co-pays and payments; support cash handling targets.
• Prepare billing schedules and ensure authorizations are in place.
• Answer phones, manage emails, and maintain office files and reception area.
