Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• 2+ years medical office experience including customer service, cash handling, patient registration, scheduling, billing.
• EMR experience.
• Familiarity with medical terminology.
• MS Word and Excel.
• Fluent in English, verbal and written.
• Professional demeanor and appearance.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide front-end patient services, including check-in/check-out in Epic.
• Assist with patient registration, insurance verification and demographics updates.
• Handle payments, co-pays and cash reconciliation.
• Answer multi-line calls and direct inquiries to the appropriate department.
