Job summary

Kelsey-Seybold Clinic, part of the Optum family, is hiring an Ambulatory Service Representative III for our Houston locations. The role blends financial review, patient service, PBX, scheduling, and medical records tasks to support a multi-site, multi-specialty clinic.

You will use an EMR system, handle busy phone lines, and deliver outstanding service in English. Preference for 3+ years in medical office and Epic experience.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years medical office experience including patient registration, scheduling and billing.
• EMR experience and familiarity with medical terminology.
• Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
• Strong MS Office and web skills; excellent customer service.
• Ability to operate a multi-line phone system.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties as financial reviewer, patient service representative, PBX operator, appointments clerk and medical records clerk.
• Support site manager with assigned tasks and follow directions.
• Provide high-quality customer service and accurate data entry in a fast-paced environment.
