Kelsey-Seybold Clinic, part of the Optum family, is seeking an Ambulatory Service Representative II in Houston. You will assist patients with check-in/out, registration and cashiering, and maintain a neat, professional work area.

The role emphasizes friendly service, confidentiality, and accurate handling of information in a medical setting. Qualifications include high school diploma or GED, 1+ year customer service and cash handling, plus experience in a medical office or healthcare

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• 1+ years of direct face to face customer service experience.
• 1+ years of cash handling or collections experience.
• 6 months experience in a customer facing role within a medical office, healthcare setting or other service-related industry.
• 1+ years KSC ASR I with 6 months ASR II cross-training and Epic Front Desk Training.
• 1+ years KSC CBO, Managed Care or Contact Center experience.
• Knowledge of customer service principles and practices.
• Fluent in English, verbal and written.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven basic Math ability.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of health information.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly assistance to patients during check-in and check-out, including registration and cashiering.
• Maintain a neat, professional appearance and organized work area.
• Support patients and colleagues to ensure smooth, efficient service.
