Job summary

Kelsey-Seybold Clinic, part of the Optum family, is hiring at one of our Houston-area locations. The role supports financial review, patient services, PBX operations, and medical records tasks to ensure seamless patient experiences.

We seek strong customer service, medical office know-how, EMR fluency, and the ability to manage multiple tasks with confidentiality. English proficiency is required; bilingual skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years in medical office with customer service, cash handling, patient registration, appointment scheduling, medical billing, and multi-line phone experience OR 1+ year at KSC as Ambulatory Service Rep II.
• EMR experience required.
• MS Word and Excel proficiency expected.
• Familiarity with medical terminology and excellent customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Performs detailed duties across financial reviewer, patient service, PBX operator, appointments clerk and/or medical records clerk roles.
• Performs other duties as assigned by site manager.
