Job summary

Qualifications

• + High school diploma or equivalent, with customer service/medical office experience.
• + Minimum 1 year ambulatory care experience in a coordinator role.
• + Familiarity with Word, Outlook, GE Centricity, Cerner, PBAR, scheduling systems.
• + Excellent communication skills in English.
• + Ability to coordinate multiple appointments across multi-specialty services.

Responsibilities

• + Process referrals and obtain required outside records; enter demographics and arrange authorizations.
• + Schedule evaluations and clinic appointments in a timely manner across departments.
• + Coordinate diagnostic testing and labs; manage referrals.
• + Provide information and guidance to patients and families; assist with billing support.
• + Maintain clerical duties and clinic readiness; handle messages and communication.
