Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred.
• 2 years of relevant experience required; cross-training to cover multiple specialties considered in lieu of experience.
• Proficient communication and attention to detail; able to write clearly and concisely.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service across in-person and phone interactions.
• Schedule and coordinate appointments with correct provider using clinical information.
• Collect and confirm demographic and insurance information for clean registration.
• Perform verification functions per scheduling/registration standards.
• Complete visit documentation accurately and on time.
• Manage cash collections as needed and respond to questions with professionalism.
• Provide patients with paper and electronic tools for the visit.
• Stay engaged with team goals and continuous improvement efforts.
