  • Enter patient demographic and financial information into EMR and billing systems; obtain email for confirmations.
  • Schedule ambulatory visits, pre-register patients, coordinate referrals, and manage appointments.
  • Answer calls, route inquiries to providers, and maintain patient communication to minimize delays.
  • Edit registration data, assist in charge reconciliation, and ensure accurate schedules.
  • Assist in routing patients and documents, and provide frontline problem solving.
  • Follow HIPAA rules and maintain PHI confidentiality.
