Job summary

Sartorius is seeking a Field Application Specialist focusing on Ambr systems in the Mid-Atlantic/Southeast region. This role supports customers from evaluation to successful implementation, working with upstream bioprocessing workflows and automation solutions.

You will collaborate with Sales, Product Management, and Quality to deliver hands-on demonstrations, trials, and customer trainings while traveling to customer sites."

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Engineering, or related field; Master’s preferred.
• 3+ years of application/support experience in upstream bioprocessing environments.
• Experience with Ambr bioreactors and associated workflows is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Translate process requirements into product and workflow recommendations for upstream systems.
• Design, coordinate, and document evaluation plans, onboarding activities, and outcomes.
• Troubleshoot technical inquiries and coordinate corrective actions with cross‑functional teams.
• Contribute technical insights and recommendations during opportunity development.
• Train and mentor other Field Application Specialists and Sales colleagues.
