Job summary

Sartorius is hiring a Field Application Specialist - Ambr Focus to support the Mid-Atlantic and Southeast regions. You will help customers implement Ambr bioreactor technologies, translate process requirements into actionable product recommendations, and drive adoption through evaluations, trials, and training.

The ideal candidate resides in PA, NJ, MD, or DE, has 3+ years in upstream bioprocessing support, strong collaboration skills, and the ability to travel >50% to engage with customers and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Engineering, or related field; Master’s preferred.
• 3+ years of application support/technical support in upstream bioprocessing.
• Experience with Ambr bioreactors and related workflows.
• Strong troubleshooting and documentation skills.
• Willingness to travel >50% and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Support customer evaluations and provide product and workflow recommendations for upstream systems.
• Design and coordinate evaluation plans, onboarding activities, and outcomes.
• Troubleshoot technical inquiries and coordinate corrective actions with cross-functional teams.
• Contribute technical insights and recommendations during opportunity development.
• Capture feedback and trends to support portfolio enhancements.
• Train other Field Application Specialists and Sales colleagues.
• Train customers on new technologies and assist initial start-up operations.
• Support Quality during complaint investigations.
• Provide monthly territory activity reports.
